Glorify God with Good Soil

A sower went out to sow
his seed”

At the end of his manuscripts the great composer Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 – 1750) wrote these words.

S-D-G – soli deo gloria –  to God alone the glory.

In Chapter 57 of the Rule St. Benedict instructs us to glorify God in all things.

“The evil of avarice must have no part in establishing prices, which should, therefore, always be a little lower than people outside the monastery are able to set, so that in all things God may be glorified” (1 Pet 4:11).   RB 57.7-8
